Yesterday was a bit grey at times, but still necessary walkies.
And this was a quick snap. Oystercatchers.....they make a sort of "peeping" noise and scuttle
about at the water's edge.
This is my interpretation of the scene
I started with a bit of texture (gesso and a palette knife)
The colour is Infusions powder (PaperArtsy), spritzed and washed across the page.
It sits between all the lumpy bits....
I overworked the birds as usual......much prefer the little spontaneous pencil versions.....
